Jeremy Johnson founded Southern Tooling on June 4, 2007 with three employees and a simple mission: build high-quality automated and custom equipment with craftsmanship, speed, and integrity. Under his leadership, the company has grown into a trusted automation integrator serving more than 70 unique customers across multiple industries. Jeremy’s hands-on experience in design, machining, and machine building continues to influence Southern Tooling’s culture—practical, humble, fast-moving, and focused on doing the job right the first time.

As CEO, Jeremy guides the company’s technical direction, team development, and long-term strategy. He is deeply involved in shaping capabilities, mentoring the next generation of designers and builders, and ensuring Southern Tooling remains an American-made engineering company known for precision and reliability.

A lifelong builder and entrepreneur, Jeremy’s passions include classic car restoration, cattle ranching, his rental real estate ventures, and a family wedding venue. He enjoys Tennessee football, hiking, coaching high school sports, playing drums, and attending live concerts.
