Troy Williams

With more than 18 years at Southern Tooling & Automation, Troy brings decades of hands-on expertise in design, machining, and assembly. A SolidWorks 3D CAD designer and skilled manual machinist, he’s contributed to countless automated lines and robotic cells—taking pride in knowing his work helps build the products people use every day.

Before joining Southern, Troy spent eight years at Trico Industries designing OEM equipment and gaining experience across welding, fabrication, tooling, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical work. He also spent 15 years at Toolmasters, where precision machining, chrome plating, heat treating, and tight-tolerance tooling shaped his “work smarter, not harder” approach.

Raised in a Christian home and guided by the Golden Rule, Troy enjoys time with his wife of 40 years, his children, and grandchildren. Outside work, he loves motorcycle riding and model aviation.
