Founded in 2007, Southern Tooling grew from a simple idea: that custom automation should be fast, flexible, and rooted in trust. Today, we’re a team of 25 professionals with a combined 400+ years of experience, half of whom have worked together for three decades. That longevity matters—it means our customers are working with a unified team that knows how to collaborate and solve problems without administrative red tape.

Our culture is simple but powerful: one team, no strangers. Every person here, from the machinists and welders to designers and programmers, is cross-trained and accountable. We flex to meet the needs of each project and back each other up, which means when challenges arise, you get real-time solutions – not excuses.

This year we’ve expanded our team by 20% to prepare for record demand and the evolving needs of our customers.  This new generation is learning directly from our seasoned veterans, ensuring that the deep knowledge we’ve built doesn’t just stay in-house but gets passed down.
